A constructioncompany websitethat names a priceand its limit

A construction company website answers the two questions someone asks before handing over their flat: what it costs per square metre, and whether the estimate will grow halfway through the job. A site that says “prices on request” gets closed in five seconds. A construction and renovation website built on INIT is arranged around those two questions: a price per square metre for each type of work, beside it a line saying what that price excludes, then a portfolio of finished jobs, stages with honest durations, the contract and the warranty.

What the customer is deciding

Four questions you are compared on, against the crew down the road

Not one of them is about which tiles you lay. All four are about money and time, and the answer to each has to be on the site before anyone dials a number.

What the site is made of

Six blocks that do all the work

These are ordinary builder sections: placed with the mouse, filled with your own text and reordered at will. Nothing has to be coded — the page is assembled by moving blocks around.

The main block

A price per square metre, by type of work

Shell, full finish, turnkey, with bathrooms and electrics priced separately. Each line carries a rate and a note on what it covers. The neighbouring “not included” line removes half your future disputes and half the “why has it gone up” calls.

Portfolio

Projects with floor area and duration

Each project: a handover photograph, the floor area, the scope of work and how long it took. Eight captioned projects convince more than two hundred photographs in a row.

Stages

The run of work, week by week

The sequence of stages with a duration on each. The customer sees what the timeline is made of and stops treating it as a number you invented.

Enquiry

A survey booking form where people think about booking

The form sits directly under the price list rather than alone at the bottom of the page. The enquiry lands on the kanban board and the card shows which section it came from — the price list, the portfolio or the office-refurbishment page — so you know what the conversation is about before you open it.

Documents

Contract and warranty

What gets signed, at which stage, and the warranty you give on the work. This is the block that separates a company from a crew with a classified ad.

Three languages

Kazakh and English versions

Each version has its own copy rather than a machine translation of the Russian page: the price list and the scope descriptions are rewritten for the language.

Portfolio

One handover photograph beats a hundred of the work in progress

Progress shots prove that you work. A photograph of a finished job shows how it ended, and that is what people decide on. Every project needs three captions: floor area, scope of work and duration. Without them the gallery is just other people's renovations, indistinguishable from the next firm's.

Floor area, type of work and duration captioned under every project

Before-and-after shot from the same position, not from two different ones

Your own photographs instead of stock: stock gets recognised, and it costs trust

Projects split by type: new build, older flat, office, house

An empty flat after the finishing work: pale walls, daylight through a large window, a folded set of drawings on the floor.
Handover day: finishes complete, the drawings still on the floor.
Working out the cost

Three ways to show a price. Two of them lose the customer.

This is the one place on a construction company's site where getting it wrong costs enquiries every day. The difference is not presentation — it is what happens two weeks after the call.

A steel tape measure stretched across a stack of tiles with a red-handled trowel at the frame edge.
The usual choice

A calculator that returns an exact figure

It has not seen the property, has not looked at the state of the screed and does not know the wall in question is load-bearing. The customer remembers that figure as a promise, and any recalculation after the survey looks like a bait-and-switch — even when it is entirely honest.

The nervous choice

“Prices on request”

It reads as “expensive, but we are not saying”. The visitor does not ring to find out; they open the next tab. You learn neither who they were nor that you lost the enquiry.

How this site is built

A rate per metre by type of work — and a “not included” line

The customer sees the order of magnitude and understands what makes it up. The survey form sits beside the price list, the enquiry reaches the kanban board naming the page and section it came from, and the actual estimate is one you give yourself, after you have seen the property.

How it goes live

Five steps from the catalogue to the first enquiry

The order is not decorative: there is nowhere to upload a portfolio until the site exists, and no way to test the enquiry form until it is on a page.

01

Pick a site from the catalogue and keep the blocks you need

The catalogue holds 26 ready-made sites. Everything a construction company needs — price list, project gallery, stages, survey form — are existing builder sections you add with the mouse. A working address is issued immediately; your own domain can be connected later.

10 minutes

The site opens on a link

02

Put in your own rates and your own stages

Change the names of the trades, the rates per metre and the “not included” line to match how you actually price. Edit it by hand or ask the assistant — it shows the list of changes and waits for your approval.

An evening

The prices and timings are yours

03

Upload your projects

The longest step, and nobody can do it for you: handover photographs, floor area, scope of work and duration for each project. Eight captioned projects are enough for the page to stop reading as a template.

The longest part

A portfolio that distinguishes you

04

Add the Kazakh version

The second and third versions are not copies of the Russian one: the price list and the scope descriptions are rewritten for the language. The assistant prepares a translation aware of what is already translated; you correct the wording.

1–2 hours

The site in three languages

05

Send yourself the first enquiry

Fill in the survey form as a customer would and look at the card on the kanban board: which page and which section it arrived from. Send it twice — the second one will not be folded into the first, because repeat enquiries are never treated as duplicates here.

Enquiries arrive

Why the price sits above the fold

Customers are not afraid of your price. They are afraid the price you quoted will not be the final one.

Which is why the price list that wins on a construction company's site is not the prettiest one but the most honest: a rate per metre for every type of work and, next to it, a line saying what it excludes. A site that names the limit of an estimate itself gets fewer calls — and nearly all of them from people who have already accepted the order of magnitude.

Boundaries

What the subscription covers, and what the platform does not do

A construction business is estimates, materials and people on site. The website covers one of those three, and it is better to know which before you start.

Included

Works from the first minutes and is edited by you

  • The AI assistant is included in the subscription: 19 tools, every change on your approval
  • A ready-made site from a 26-theme catalogue — editable down to its structure
  • Price list, project gallery, stages, survey form — from 35 kinds of section
  • Russian, Kazakh and English versions with separate content
  • Enquiries on a kanban board; the card names the page and section it came from
  • A section editor: rates, stages and portfolio edited without a developer
  • A working address immediately; your own domain connected later

Not included

Deliberately outside the platform

  • It does not price the job for you or fill rates in — the figures are yours
  • It does not track materials and does not replace your accounting
  • It does not produce a design scheme or a 3D visualisation
  • It does not reply to customers on your behalf: enquiries reach a person, not an autoresponder
  • A bespoke brand design is built by our web studio as a separate project — from 1,500,000 ₸
After launch

What you do yourself, without opening a thread with a developer

The season starts in spring and material prices move earlier than that. Edits of this kind have to take a minute, otherwise the site goes stale quietly.

Price list

Raise rates before the season

One request to the assistant: it finds every line in the price list, shows what will change and applies it once you approve.

Gallery

Add a finished project

Photographs, floor area, scope of work and duration. The order of the projects in the gallery is yours to set.

Stages

Change a duration on one trade

Durations live in the stages section and are edited like ordinary text — with no need to contact anybody.

Kanban

Never lose a repeat enquiry

The same person writes again a week later and you get a second card, not a silent “we have had this one”. Repeat enquiries are never merged here.

How this differs

A ready-made site, a bespoke site, and a social profile

The “what does it cost” line comes first on purpose: on a construction company's site it decides everything — and the same applies to this page.

The 12,800 ₸ a month subscription covers the construction company's site in full. A bespoke brand design and non-standard logic are built by our own web studio on a fixed quote: a landing page from 1,500,000 ₸, a corporate site from 3,000,000 ₸, a portal with an account area and integrations from 8,000,000 ₸. You can start on the subscription and commission the rest later — the site with its price list and enquiries runs throughout.

Questions

What builders ask before they start

The answers are short, because a long answer to a question like this usually means no.

Try it

Launch the site in 5 minutes, then put your own price list in it

three days free with no card, then from 12,800 ₸ a month. In that time you can put in your own rates per metre, upload a couple of projects and send yourself the first enquiry.

  • A your-name.shardit.app address is issued immediately; your own domain connects later
  • 26 ready-made sites in the catalogue — any of them can be opened in full before you pay
  • Enquiries reach the kanban board naming the page and section they were sent from
