How to createa website fora business

A website for a business doesn't start with a template. It starts with one answer: what should the visitor do here — call, send an enquiry, book, come in. The structure, the copy, the photographs and how you build it all follow from that. Below are the seven steps in the order the work actually happens, with a fork at step four where you pick the format and the price: a subscription from 12,800 ₸ a month or a bespoke build from 1,500,000 ₸.

ready-made sites instead of a blank page

3 days

Step zero

What to gather before you open the editor

Builds rarely stall on the technology. They stall on an empty “About us” field, because content is the one part that nothing speeds up. The left column is what the build cannot proceed without. The right column can wait as long as it likes, and it's exactly where people get stuck for months.

Needed up front

Without these the build stops at the first section

  • One answer to “what should the visitor do”
  • Your services or products with the prices you quote on the phone
  • Phone, address, opening hours and a contact channel you genuinely read
  • 10–15 of your own photographs: the premises, the work, the result, the people
  • Registered name and company details — for the contract and for the form
  • The name of whoever answers enquiries, and how fast they answer

Not needed at the start

Postpones at no cost, yet costs months

  • A rebrand and a new logo
  • A blog and a content plan
  • A mobile app
  • A 500-item catalogue when you sell twelve things
  • Perfect copy — it edits more accurately on a live site
  • Your own domain on day one: a technical address is issued immediately

Step by step

Seven steps from the brief to a published site

The order matters more than the speed. Steps 1 and 2 cannot be swapped: a structure invented before the customer's scenario gets rebuilt wholesale later, not adjusted.

01

Decide what the visitor should do

One answer, not three: ring, send an enquiry, book, visit. It decides what sits on the first screen and which button repeats down the page. “Tell people about the company” is neither an action nor a goal.

30 minutes

One target action

02

Build the structure out of the customer's scenario

Write down the questions people ask on the phone before they agree: what do you do, what does it cost, how quickly, who are you, where are you, what if I don't like it. Each question is a section, and the order of the sections is the order of the questions — not the order in a template.

1 hour

A page map, or a list of pages

03

Prepare the content before building

Copy, prices, photographs and contacts go into one document and one folder. Building with the content ready takes minutes; building while inventing it stretches into weeks and usually stops at the “About us” section.

1–3 days

Copy and photographs ready

04

Choose how you are going to build it

If the job is ordinary — explain, show prices, collect enquiries — take a ready themed site on a subscription from 12,800 ₸ a month. If you need calculations, a customer account or an exchange with your accounting system, that's a bespoke build from 1,500,000 ₸. We do both, so you pick a route once and never have to change supplier.

05

Assemble and fill the site

On a ready theme you replace each section's content with your own, add the blocks you need and remove the ones you don't. The AI assistant, included in the subscription, can do the same from a sentence. It doesn't touch anything on its own — it shows every change as a list first and waits for you to say “apply.”

Minutes

A site carrying your content

06

Set up enquiry intake and test it on yourself

Form submissions land on a kanban board, and the card names the page the person came from. Send a test enquiry yourself, watch it arrive, and confirm you know who answers it. Repeat enquiries are never merged: a second request is a second time somebody came to you.

20 minutes

An enquiry on the board

07

Check it on a phone, then publish

Open the site on your own phone, not on a mock-up: scroll to the bottom, tap the number, submit the form, open the map. Most visitors in Kazakhstan will arrive exactly that way. Publishing is the last button on this list, not the first.

Content

The one part of the job nobody can do for you

Only you know your prices, your lead times and what a customer asks first. Everything else on the site is the presentation of those answers, and it takes minutes. Collecting the answers takes days, which is why it goes first.

The main one

Prices — the ones you quote on the phone

Not “from” and not “on request”. A page without figures does not filter out the hagglers; it filters out the people who were ready to buy, and they go to whoever printed a number. If the sum depends on volume, show the range and what moves it.

10–15 frames

Your own photographs

Ten frames of the premises, the work and the result convince more than any stock library. Taken on a phone in daylight is fine; a stranger smiling on a white background is not.

FAQ

Answers to the phone questions

For one week, write down what people ask before they agree. That is a finished FAQ block and half the services copy — already written by your customers.

Contact

Contacts somebody actually reads

Phone, messenger, address, opening hours, map. An inbox nobody opens is worse than no inbox at all: the enquiry disappears into silence and the person concludes you simply don't want the work.

ru / kz / en

Three languages means three texts

The Russian, Kazakh and English versions are stored separately. A Kazakh version that is switched on but empty looks worse than none at all — the site reads as abandoned.

Documents

Legal details

Registered name, business number, bank details and a personal-data policy are needed both for contracts and for the enquiry form. Ten minutes of work, but the form cannot go live without them.

Step 4 in detail

Four ways to build a site — and what each one actually costs

We do both the subscription to a ready site and the bespoke build, so the route is chosen once and you never have to change supplier. The subscription covers an ordinary job in minutes, from 12,800 ₸ a month. A builder from scratch and a freelancer both start from an empty screen, and everything that appears on it is billed separately.

“Partial” means it depends on the person doing it, or on how much you are willing to configure by hand. Subscription: a landing page is 12,800 ₸ a month, a corporate site 14,700 ₸, premium themes from 27,800 ₸. Bespoke: a landing page from 1,500,000 ₸, a corporate site from 3,000,000 ₸, an online shop from 5,000,000 ₸. The full list of plans and modules is on the pricing page.

Where it usually goes wrong

A site that brings no enquiries usually isn't ugly. It just has nowhere on it, and no reason, to leave one.

On rebuilds this is visible almost every time: the page is neatly made, but the target action is buried in the footer, the form feeds an inbox nobody opens, and on a phone the button does not land under a thumb. Design has nothing to do with it: step six is broken, and step one is what usually gets rewritten.

After launch

The first week: what to check while it is still cheap to fix

Launch is not the finish line; it is day one of collecting data. Seven days is enough to see which section a visitor turns back at, and early enough that it has not yet cost you enquiries.

Bespoke development

Four jobs we close with a bespoke build rather than a subscription

A ready theme covers the ordinary job in minutes: explain, show prices, collect enquiries. Four jobs go to a bespoke build instead: a landing page from 1,500,000 ₸, a corporate site from 3,000,000 ₸, an online shop from 5,000,000 ₸, a portal with customer accounts and integrations from 8,000,000 ₸. Same team, same contract, no second supplier to find.

Development

Pricing calculated by your own formula

A calculator that works from volume, materials and deadlines, or a selector driven by stock parameters, is logic rather than a section. That gets written for the job and tested on its own.

Development

A customer account area

Orders, history, statuses, documents, payment — a separate product with its own roles and access rules, not one more page on the site. A portal with customer accounts and integrations starts at 8,000,000 ₸.

Integration

Exchange with an accounting system

Stock levels and prices out of 1C, statuses out of a CRM, orders pushed back — an integration with its own schedule, its own testing and its own plan for the day the exchange stops.

Design

A design drawn for the brand

If the site has to look like nothing any template looks like, that is design from scratch. A ready theme adapts to your colours, typefaces and photographs, but it stays itself.

What it takes

Requirements, timings and what is issued straight away

What actually decides the launch date is on this page. The prices are known up front: a landing page on the subscription is 12,800 ₸ a month, a corporate site 14,700 ₸, premium themes from 27,800 ₸, and a bespoke build from 1,500,000 ₸. The full list of plans and modules is on the pricing page.

Questions

What people ask before step one

The answers are short, because a long answer here usually means “it depends”.

Start

Walk the seven steps on your own content

Take a ready theme, replace the demo content with yours and send yourself the first enquiry. The trial is enough to walk all seven steps. After that a landing page is 12,800 ₸ a month and a corporate site 14,700 ₸. If the job turns out not to be an ordinary one, write to us: we build to order, a landing page from 1,500,000 ₸ and a corporate site from 3,000,000 ₸.

  • A your-name.shardit.app address is issued immediately
  • Trial 3 days, we do not ask for a card
  • The enquiry lands on the board, and the card names its source page
